Laura Makaltses is a self taught SPFX makeup artist. She has worked as a SPFX makeup artist for short films, photo shoots, workshops and halloween attractions. She often models her own makeup to bring her characters to life. She runs Halloween photography workshops every year where photographers come out and learn to light and shoot horror settings with Laura's makeups creations as the subject.. 
Laura has experience sculpting, molding, casting and applying her own prosthetics. She can create realistic wounds and abrasions, old age makeup and full characters. Laura creates makeups and characters that immerse the audience into a new world.
